Our Ministries:

How will you get connected and why does it matter?

Whether you’re joining a group or finding a way to serve in the community, we’re here to help every member of our church discover meaningful opportunities. We believe it’s essential for each person to use their unique, God-given gifts and passions to love God, grow in faith, build friendships, and serve the church, the city, and the nations. Connecting in these ways helps us all live out our purpose and make an impact together.

At Lighthouse, we believe that an essential component of spiritual formation and growth in your Christian walk is community. We are committed to provide opportunities to grow in your faith through friendship, connection, and teamwork.

Youth Group: 7th - 12th Grade

At Lighthouse, we believe that students of all ages should be provided with opportunities to connect with each other, grow from sound biblical teaching, and serve using their gifts and talents. We also believe that they should have FUN while pursuing Jesus!

Youth group meets every Wednesday night at 6:30pm during our Midweek sessions. Check the events page to see the beginning and end of our semester schedule (we typically do 6 weeks of Midweek and then 2 weeks off). The youth group also meets monthly for relationship connection - bowling, video game parties, karaoke and pizza nights, and so much more! The youth group also works hard to prepare YOUTH TAKEOVER SUNDAYS. Annually, we participate in Teen Talent and the Pennsylvania Youth and Discipleship camp.

Lighthouse Kids: PreK - 6th Grade

At Lighthouse, we believe that students of all ages should be provided with opportunities to connect with each other, grow from sound biblical teaching, and serve using their gifts and talents. We also believe that they should have FUN while pursuing Jesus!

On Sundays, our kids ministry meets after the music portion of our service. Children's church is split into two age groups: Tots (ages 2-4) and Kids (Kindergarten - 6th grade). There is also a private parent nursery available to any guardian who needs it for their baby.

Lighthouse is committed to keeping your child safe - we have a secure check-in and check-out system and all children's workers participate in training and background checks.

Children's ministry is also available during Midweek Bible Studies! Check our semester schedule on the events page to see when we have Midweek. Kids have the opportunity to serve in our YOUTH TAKE OVER SUNDAYS, Teen talent, and summer camp. Every two years, we host Vacation Bible School.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

HEBREWS 10:23-25

A discipleship band is a group of three to five people who read together, pray together, and meet together to become the love of God for one another and the world.

John Wesley once famously said, "There is no holiness apart from social holiness." Over the years, many have mistakenly asserted that he was talking about social justice. In reality, he was talking about doing discipleship in the context of real relationships. In essence, you can't become a real Christian alone. The way forward is as close as a few other people who are willing to band together. Discipleship bands are not traditional small groups or typical accountability groups. The "content" or curriculum is the lives of the bandmates, joined together in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. The purpose is to learn from one another and grow together through prayer and pursuit of Jesus.

If you would like to join a band within our church family, please sign up below so we can contact you and find the right group for you!

Anchor Your Marriage

Anchor Your Marriage is a married couples group that meets every 4th Sunday of the month at 4pm. Pastors Don and Marcy Steffy host this group.

Whether you're newlyweds or have been married for years, this group is for you! Together, we explore key topics such as communication, trust, self-awareness and spiritual growth, all while fostering community and connection with other couples.

Come anchor your marriage in faith and friendship!

Young Adults: Ages 18-29

Our young adult ministry meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at 6:30pm. For high school graduates through their 20s, this group discusses important and pressing topics that impact young adults through a biblical perspective. Through relationship building and vulnerability, this ministry strives to be an authentic Christian community for individuals facing unique challenges.

Our food pantry is open to the community every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm.

At this time, we have a soup kitchen open to anyone looking for a hot meal.

All are welcome at the table!
